The Committee on science and education recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to Final provisions of the Law “On amendments and recognizing as invalid several legislative acts of Ukraine” re refining terms of labour remuneration of academic staff

Committee members noted that submission of the bill (Reg. No. 1914-1) was predetermined by the need to settle remuneration of labour of academic staff of higher educational establishments and scientific institutions.

The bill allows chairpersons of higher educational establishments and scientific institutions repay the difference between the maximum and actual salary level at the expense of special budget fund of the institution.
